How exciting to be starting another of my sampler SALs. I do hope you will enoy this Spring one as much as our Happy Day designs. Perhaps fewer smiles, but hopefully as enjoyable. For our starter, I have attached the basic chart which shows the outer green border line and the guide lines in blue which denote where each motif is placed. The blue outlined areas are not uniform in size throughout so please take care when stitching these.
Next Wednesday...

Happy New Year everone. I hope you all managed to have a lovely festive break.
I do have to make an apology though, as I haven't quite sorted out the new SAL!!! SORRY. We had a few more visitors, which was really lovely, so I extended my holiday period for a bit longer.
I have managed to add four new designs to my website Shop though. Seasonal sampler designs, all based on the same house through the year but with flora and...

Hi everyone. First, just a note to say that my thoughts are with all of our lovely stitching friends and everyone in the USA affected by the awful tornedoes.
Nearly Christmas and still just a bit of time to stitch a few more cards. I have added a really simple snowflake design for you today which I hope you will like and will not take too long to stitch.

The last one!! Not particularly any type of Summer flower, but it looks pretty and works well with the rest. I have had such wonderfull feedback from you about this series and thank you for all of your updates on your progress. But, it does mean the start of another set of designs and I'll have more next week about the new project.
One new design has been added this week - 'Life is just a bowl of cherries!' which I...

Well, still far too much rain for most of us here in the UK this past week, but at least the temperatures have been warm.
Part 7...how time flies and thank you again for your lovely pictures you are sending in. I think I will have to call this one a generic yellow flower as I don't think I have a particular species in mind! The shape and colour though do fit the design!
Have a good week and take care.
Happy stitching,
Lesley

Part 4! Getting somewhere now. Many thanks again for your loveley pictures that you are sending in - they are such a delight to receive.
This week, a lovely mauve iris, one of my favourite flowers and, at the moment, they have been in fiull bloom here in my garden for about 4 weeks, but sadly, near the end for another year.
I have added a new design this week - and yes, a Christmes one, but I know some of you...

Hope you have all had a good week and, if in the Uk, a bit more sunshine has been very welcome.
One of our lovely FB group messaged me to ask if I had forgotten the antennae on the butterflies in part 2 and also for part 8 in due course. Not deliberate on my part as I don't think I am worried either way. I have shown the complete sampler today with them added, as I thought you might like...

Our first flower for our new part series is the pretty carnation with a small butterfly. If you prefer a paler outline then give 3799 a try. It is simple to stitch and all of these motifs will make lovely cards as well as an attractive sampler when stiched together with the border.
