We had a lovely weekend away with my eldst son and Gareth my 8 year old grandson, playing cricket, footbal and rugby!! Perhaps getting just a little too old for this, but great fun was had by all. We also spent time trying to find creepy crawlies (already dead) for him to put under the mini microscope that we took for him. Quite amazing how a tiny plastic instrument worked SO brilliantly, even black poppy seeds were incredible to view.
The poser here is me! We all went to their local pub for Sunday lunch and I had a trial run of Annmarie's sunglasses. I loved them. I think I might just have to go and buy a pair!
This week has been another busy one working on a largish design for an American cross stitch magazine, called Just Cross Stitch. It has been great fun to do and it is a lovely company to work for. Unfortunately no sneeky previews aloud.
I'm just about to go and post an envelope off to Gareth with more enclosed finds of a moth, bees and fly, plus a very large spider which has been placed in a tissue.........it made jump when David showed me, so I think he may have the same repsonse!
