This is the second design to be found in the latest issue of GOLD magazine. It celebrates the first day of Christmas with this pretty partridge perched in a colourful pear tree. Although this design is intended for the first of the Christmas issues I will be very happy to have this cushion, with this chubby chap on my settee all year round.
I have used lots of bold shapes to make this piece stand out and opted for some non - Christmassy colours to ring the changes. I love the orange shades on the pears, highlighted by gold Reflecta thread. The spotty leaves are fun too, and they’re mirrored by the dots in the fabric border.
