Four glorious British butterflies: Purple Emporer, Small tortoiseshell, Peacock and the Red Admiral. Apart from the Purple Emporer which may be seen in the south of England, we can still find the other three species in gardens throughout the UK; although in decline they are all beautiful to watch.
